For luxurious comfort in a beautiful seafront location, choose five-bedroomed Villa Timur near Kalkan town, on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. The villa exudes modern style with large, open-plan spaces and natural-coloured contemporary furnishings. It’s in a peaceful location with breath-taking views of Kalamar Bay and is only a short walk from the sandy shoreline and the turquoise sea.
The building fuses classic Mediterranean and modern style. The main stand-out feature is the outdoor pool area with beautiful cool stone terraces that extend to the front and side of the property and a garden area with a hammock for a shady siesta & a bar area to cool off with a cocktail. We must give an honourable mention to the charming outdoor al fresco dining area too with views out over the sea and the garden area, where pretty bougainvillaea flowers and plants creep up the rustic-looking walls.

Villa Krystal, Dalyan , sleeps 8
Four-bedroomed Villa Krystal is an ideal getaway for families, with a large pool and extensive gardens, set against the backdrop of a rugged mountain in Dalyan on the south-west coast of Turkey. From the outside, it looks like a traditional Mediterranean villa with terracotta tile roofs and whitewashed walls, yet within, it’s filled with bright contemporary artwork and modern facilities.
Once listed as one of the sexiest villas, perhaps the main stand out feature of this luxury villa is its extensive grounds – 5,300 square metres in fact – elegantly surrounding the circular-shaped swimming pool and dotted with beautiful potted plants, trees and greenery. There are plenty of soft grassy spots for children to play and several cushioned chairs and loungers for picking your prime spot in the sun or relaxing in the cooling shade.
Inside, light abounds: from the large glass windows and doors to the natural-coloured furnishings, unique art pieces and statement features. There’s air conditioning throughout, and the villa has been carefully and cleverly designed to catch the natural breeze to cool the house naturally. Simply open the windows at both ends of the villa, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly it cools down.
All four bedrooms are equally seductive, stylish and serene with en-suite bathrooms and thoughtful home-from-home touches like mirrors and dressers. Off the master bedroom on the mezzanine floor is a balcony with a wooden table and chairs for enjoying the serene vistas. There’s also an open plan lounge and fully-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, alongside a separate toilet. If you’d like to explore the local area, Villa Krystal is about 3.4km from the centre of Dalyan (a short 10-minute drive). The ancient ruins of Caunos, and the river that takes you to the sandy Iztuzu beach. Dalyan's many restaurants serving local delicacies as well as international cuisine.

There’s something captivating about three-bedroom Villa Leanne. Each of the rooms has an en-suite, dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space for storing your swimwear and flowing kaftans, while the master and double bedrooms have an LCD TV for evenings in. For your peace of mind, there’s also a safe in the master room. Extra ‘luxe’ features include a garden swing and a hammock for peacefully whiling away the afternoon.
Located in Ovacik, a small suburb in the Fethiye district, the villa is just a short walk from local restaurants and shops, as well as the main bus route between Oludeniz beach and Fethiye town if you’d like to explore this beautiful area of Turkey. Despite its proximity to all the action, the villa remains completely private, and the grounds can’t be looked into from the outside at all.
